The team is also routinely involved in regulatory matters, including due diligence and regulatory approvals. The firm’s global energy practice is spearheaded by Jeff Schlegel, whose capabilities are notably concentrated around M&A, project development, securities, and finance transactions for energy industry clients, while Kit Rockhill has considerable expertise in advising on international transactions such as specialized asset acquisitions and big-ticket liquefied natural gas (LNG) export projects.
