Having moved over from Reed Smith LLP‘s government contracts team in May 2023, Lawrence Block, Lawrence Sher, and Elizabeth Leavy jointly lead the DC practice at Winston & Strawn LLP, which offers expert assistance with high-value disputes, bid protests, and claims, as well as comprehensive counsel on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters.
Winston & Strawn LLP ’s economic sanctions offering was recently boosted by the arrival of financial crime law specialist Richard Weber, who was previously GC at the New York State Department of Financial Services. Cari Stinebower, a former Programs Officer for OFAC, chairs the group.
